Easy for everyone to remember and find.
Suggest the nature of the service you provide.

What makes a good domain name?

Branding: The best domain names to choose are your brand name. Your customers already know your brand name and choosing brand name related domains will help them to remember the website address. For example, my brand name is iRIS Web Solutions. That’s the main reason my domain name is www.iriswebsolutions.in
Length: In general domain names can be anywhere from 26 to 67 characters long. But the longer your domain name is, the more difficult it is for your clients to type it in and visit your website. There are more chances of your domain name being misspelled if they are too long. Typically, your domain name should be less than 20 characters.
Keywords and Description: Your domain name should tell your customers what services your business provides. They should be descriptive and contain main keywords which the customers are most likely to use to get to your website. Good keyword filled domain names can also help you gain an edge over your competition in your niche in search engines.
Extension: Choosing your extension is also important for your business. The most widely used extension is .com. If .com domain is available for your preferred domain name, you should go and buy it. Your customers are most likely to try out the .com extension if they already know your brand name. The extension also depends on your business location. For example, if your business is mainly based in the US, .us would be another option for the domain extension.
